Dear Friends,

We had made an appeal to you in April when the lockdown in India began. Many friends and family immediately opened their hearts and donated generously with full faith that their money will used correctly and in the places that need it most.

After understanding requests of various public hospitals in and around Mumbai, calling for samples, checking them, ordering in bulk, we have then deployed according to need. We have provided equipment as follows in the last month:

• 150 PPE and 300 Coveralls to Cooper Hospital
• 150 PPE and 340 coverall to Nair hospital
• 800 PPE kits to Kasturba hospital
• 200 PPE to Wadia Childrens hospital
• 50 PPE and 50 coverall and 50 face shields to Marol Maternity
• 200 face shields to Cooper hospital
• 200 face shields to Nair hospital
• 20 pulse oximeters, 20 digital BP apparatus and 8 IR thermometers to Cooper hospital
• 2000 plastic gloves to house keeping and maintenance staff
• 100 HME filters to Nair hospital
• 1000 epigamia to Sion hospital with help from keshav shrushti
• Daily chikki to Sion hospital residents through pediatric surgeons group
• 500 eggs per day to SION hospital residents through Wadia group

This was possible with the support of Sanjay and Asmita Hedge’s Seva Sahyog Foundation through whom we are doing this so that our donors get 80 G benefit.

We have coordinated with other NGO s and groups to fulfill the additional various requirements not mentioned above. 

We would like to thank our own friends and family for helping us do this.

But this is NOT THE TIME TO STOP! Now we are low on funds.

All major And peripheral BMC And govt hospitals are seeing the SURGE of COVID patients and are falling short of equipment for their healthcare workers at the moment. Major hospitals have sent their further requirements. Such as N95 masks, glasses, face shields, Body bags, disposable bed sheets, surgical scrubs for the fully COVID hospitals, testing kits, sanitisers, dispensers, food and even ventilators and accessories. These will save the lives of the patients and also health care workers.

Social distancing and Lockdown may have helped us Flatten the Curve. But we are still expecting millions requiring hospitalization and quarantine.

We need to continue doing whatever we can for those on the frontlines. Because fortunately we are in a position to do so.
