Pyeloplasty is a surgical procedure performed to correct blockage at the junction between the kidney and ureter, commonly called pelviureteric junction (PUJ) obstruction. The surgery helps improve urine flow and preserve kidney function. This can be either open or laparoscopic pyeloplasty or robotic pyeloplasty.
