Research Work
A Study of Soave’s Transanal Endorectal Colonic Pull-through Procedure for Short Segment Hirschsprung’s Disease In Infants. This was a Prospective study of thirty one infants of short segment Hirschsprungs Disease operated by transanal Endorectal pull through at SJKC Trusts Pediatric Surgery Centre and Post Graduate Institute, Sangli. This study was accepted as a dissertation for the Diplomate of National Board in Pediatric Surgery by the National Board.
Incisional hernia : Comparison between Polypropylene Mesh Repair and Anatomic Repair This was a prospective study conducted at K.E.M Hospital, Pune from Aug 2003 to Jan 2006 . I looked at 30 patients of each repair of incisional hernia developed after various surgeries and followed them up. Various outcomes were evaluated and compared. This study was accepted as a dissertation for the Diplomate of National Board in Surgery by the National Board.
